coffee intervention

Published by annette at 6:25 pm under Uncategorized Edit This

My daughter in law is a consumate coffee drinker.  When teased about her addiction she cries “I’ll give up my Latte’ when you pry it out of my cold dead hands!”

Since i don’t get to play with little kids very often, (see explaination blog) I have a lot of time on my hands.  I spend this extra time doing surveys and looking for free samples and offers.  I found a coffee offer.  It was for a sample of 6 flavors, and it was free. “Ding Ding Ding” I thought of Chrissy!  While seasrching the website for a way to have samples sent to Chrissy, I saw an intervention letter.  It was hilarious.  Your basic intervention speech, but all about coffee.  Being me I had to send it to my daughter in law.

Only I didn’t have her email address. (hmmm don’t have a lot of my kids emails…winder why?)  So I called her at work to get it. I didn’t tell her why just asked wrote it down and hung up.

Chrissy had a BBBAAADDD!!!! day.  She came over, argued with her hubby, (not serious just two young people tired from work) fell asleep on the couch, AND had to wake up to go home.  Not in a good mood.

I get a phone call  “COFFEE INTERVENTION?!”  Oops I forgot about that… “Ummm hi Chrissy…”  “Mom did you read that letter?”  “well not all of it cuz sometimes the drop down menu would only let me say certain things”  “IT WAS HILARIOUS!  I can’t believe you did this!  I haven’t laughed this hard in ages”

Whew! For a few minutes my life flashed before my eyes!

Anyway… have a friend in a bad mood?  Try aan intervention. (grin)

till next time
